The food scene around Castle Donington is a real gem! Tried the local eats at Orissa and Ghandi, both serving up mouthwatering dishes that take your taste buds on a ride. Plus, the staff were top-notch, making the whole experience feel special!
I would have liked clearer signs from the bedrooms pointing to reception—it was a bit of a maze navigating those long corridors.

The owners were absolutely lovely! My room had a charming view of a lit tree, and the spaciousness was quite the surprise. Great service overall—I'll be back for sure.
But honestly, the carpet could've used a bit of a makeover. It felt like it had been around since the Victorian era!

I had a lovely time here, especially enjoying the cozy bar area after a long day and the charming courtyard view from my room. The garden is beautiful and perfect for a quiet morning, and there’s a nice lounge perfect for unwinding. Just keep in mind that the bathroom could use a bit of a refresh, but overall, I’d totally recommend this place! 😊

Convenient Stay Near the Airport
Our two-night stay was quite an adventure. The heated rooms were a surprise in the chilly weather, and although damp, they provided warmth. The nearby pub offered great meals and a friendly atmosphere, making it an excellent alternative for late-night snacks. Be sure to ask for bar times!

Had a great time with friends at this hotel! We visited the local pubs and had an awesome night at a disco. The location was perfect for events at Donington Park and the airport was just a short drive away. The staff was friendly, and it was nice to have parking close by. Highly recommend it for a fun group getaway!
Unfortunately, the hot water situation was a hassle during our stay, which put a damper on things. We had to wait too long to get it fixed, and it was uncomfortable.

I just loved the old-fashioned charm of the building, with its creaky floors and beautiful decor that really makes it feel special. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. The food was also quite impressive. the breakfast had a nice selection that set us up for the day. a bit of upkeep is needed in some areas to enhance the overall experience.

Unexpected surprises
So I booked a double room with a courtyard view for one night. Check-in was smooth and the staff was super friendly. The room was a bit tired-looking with some wear and tear, and there was weird noise from outside. The food at the bar was good, but I did have to wait quite a bit for service.
